Five Breweries Bike Tour

Careful now! This route passes by Wye Hill, Crank Arm Brewing, Burial Brewing Co., Trophy on Maywood, and Raleigh Brewing. Between these five breweries there will be something for everyone!

The route starts with some urban riding as it winds through downtown passing Wye Hill, Crank Arm and Burial. Davie is the most direct route from Crank Arm to Burial, but doesn’t have a designated bike lane. The street isn’t usually very busy, but Hargett is an alternative with some bike infrastructure. Little Rock Trail links to Walnut Creek and to a spur that takes you to Maywood, and past the main Trophy brewing facility. After Trophy, the route meanders through Centennial Campus and the Kentwood neighborhood on the way to Raleigh Brewing. Use parking lot cut throughs to reach the new Gorman St. bike lane which connects to the Rocky Branch Trail and back to Dix Park. Plenty of opportunities on this ride to stop for a rest and a brew.

Looking north from the Walnut Creek Trail toward Maywood Ave. This ‘spur’ is not paved, though there is a little bridge over a stream. Can be muddy.
The newly renovated Chavis Park is just off the Little Rock Trail. There are public restrooms here in addition to tables and many other amenities.
